CAGI Logistics, accommodation and transportation

We welcomed participants to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations. We especially encouraged abstracts that present methods which were used for predictions on the CAGI 2012/2013 challenges.

Conference registration is now closed. Early registration with a reduced registration fee was accepted until May 31. There was an additional 10% discount on registration for ISCB members. The deadline for regular registration was June 21. Space in the conference was limited, therefore early registration was strongly advised.

Conference admission was open to all participants of the CAGI experiment, as well as sponsors. Participants were individuals who were predictors, assessors, data providers, CAGI advisory board or scientific council members, or CAGI organizers. Observers were also accommodated, depending upon space availability and anticipated contributions to the meeting. (If an observer registered and was not admitted, then the registration fee was refunded in full.)

Fellowships were available to assist with the costs of some US citizen trainees (students and postdocs) through an NHGRI R13 award. The deadline for fellowship applications (including abstract submission) was 31 May 2013.

Some important dates to keep in mind:
31 May 2013: Early registration closes

15 June 2013: Deadline for abstract submission (participants not requesting fellowships)
